JOB BANK

Responsible for accepting job postings from employers and making postings available to members of the New Orleans Paralegal Association.  

MEMBERSHIP

• Supervises and maintains membership records
• Answer inquiries regarding membership
• Recruits new members

NEWSLETTER

Publishes a monthly newsletter.  The Newsletter:

• Announces meetings, continuing education seminars, technology updates and other events
• Publishes articles by members and other contributors on substantive issues related to the paralegal profession
• Publishes local and national issues that affect the paralegal profession

SEMINAR

Organize educational seminars and workshops; answer inquiries regarding paralegal training seminars/training workshops.

SURVEY/STANDARDS

Monitors the economical status and working conditions of paralegals in the New Orleans area by conducting a semi-yearly salary and periodic standards survey; monitors standards of competency for paralegals with all levels of training and experience.
